Mr. Abhigyan Bora presently holds the position of Assistant Professor at NEF College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Nagaon. He obtained his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Guwahati in 2017, following which he pursued and completed his Master of Pharmacy with a specialization in Pharmacology from the same institution in 2023. During his postgraduate studies, Mr. Bora conducted research focused on the "Evaluation of Protective Effect of Eugenol and Carvacrol against Rheumatoid Arthritis," showcasing his dedication to advancing the understanding of pharmacological interventions for complex diseases. His scholarly contributions extend beyond academia, as evidenced by his participation in prestigious events such as the 72nd Indian Pharmaceutical Congress in Nagpur and the 2nd National Seminar on "Novel Innovations in Biomedical Sciences (NIBS)" hosted by the NEMCARE Group of Institutes in 2023. Additionally, Mr. Bora has honed his skills through active engagement in various workshops organized by esteemed colleges and organizations. Mr. Bora's commitment to scholarly writing is evident in his participation in a national-level online review article writing competition on the topic of "A Nutritional Approach Towards the Prevention and Management of Cancer," organized by Academic Decipher Press, Mumbai. His exemplary contribution was selected for publication as a book chapter, showcasing his expertise in communicating scientific concepts effectively. To further augment his practical understanding, Mr. Bora completed a rigorous 30-day industrial training program at Aishwarya Healthcare Sikkim, where he gained valuable insights into pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and quality control measures.
Prior to assuming his current role, Mr. Bora served as a guest lecturer at Arya Nursing College for a duration of two years, where he imparted knowledge and mentored aspiring healthcare professionals. His multifaceted experiences underscore his versatility and dedication to the advancement of pharmaceutical education and research.
