Mr. Sadiqul Alam currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at NEF College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Nagaon, Assam, India. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) degree from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh (2019) and Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the Department of Pharmacy, Tripura University (A Central University), Agartala (2021).

With over four years of teaching experience, Mr. Alam has demonstrated a strong commitment to educating the next generation of pharmaceutical professionals. His teaching expertise spans various subjects in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, where he imparts both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to students.

Mr. Alam’s research work has primarily focused on the phytochemical identification, characterization, isolation and evaluation of the antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-diabetic and antihypertensive activities of various medicinal plant extracts. His academic and research contributions are reflected in numerous publications in reputed National & International journals, where he has authored both research articles and review papers. Additionally, Mr. Alam is the author of a book on Instrumental Method of Analysis, which further contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the pharmaceutical sciences.

In addition to his research, Mr. Alam has actively participated in numerous National and International seminars, workshops and conferences, which have contributed to his professional development and enhanced his knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences. Currently, he is pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh, Assam.

Mr. Alam is deeply committed to advancing research and development in the field of pharmaceutical sciences, with a particular focus on contributing to one of the world’s largest healthcare systems. He is passionate about providing quality education to students and promoting professional ethics and standards of practice within the pharmaceutical field. Mr. Alam remains dedicated to contributing to the growth and success of NEF College of Pharmaceutical Education & Research and strives to support the institution’s goals through his expertise and commitment to academic excellence.
