Ms. Nikita Dey is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at NEF College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Nagaon. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University, Assam, in 2019, followed by her Master's degree in pharmaceutical chemistry from Dibrugarh University in 2021. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University. Her research interests include in-silico studies, synthesis, and analysis of various compounds with potential therapeutic effects, including anti-diabetic, anti-inflammatory, anti-Alzheimer's, and anti-NAFLD properties.

Ms. Dey has published several review papers and has actively participated in various national and international seminars, conferences and faculty development programmes. She also gained practical experience through a one-month training in the pharmaceutical industry during her Bachelor's degree. With a total of 3.6 years of teaching experience, she is passionate about learning new concepts and sharing her knowledge with students.
